1. How to Apply:
You can register for free by completing our online form. Once registered, you must log in and fully complete your youngster’s profile (referred to as “your details”).

3. Profile Approval:
We will review and approve profiles once ID and legal checks are completed. Without proper documentation (passport, contact info, work code if needed), we cannot approve a profile.
4. No Guarantee of Acceptance:
Registration does not guarantee approval. We reserve the right to reject or remove any profile without notice.
5. Booking Opportunities:
Once registered, we may send you availability checks for roles. Please note: we cannot guarantee any bookings, as casting decisions are made by production companies.
6. Data Handling:
We are the Data Controller under the Data Protection Act (1998) and GDPR (2018). Your youngster’s data will only be used for purposes related to bookings or as permitted by law. We will keep it safe and never sell or trade your information.
7. Updating Your Details:
You must keep all contact information accurate. If your details are outdated, we may remove you from our database.
8. Profile Maintenance:
Since we do not charge registration or admin fees, it is your responsibility to regularly update your youngster’s measurements, photos, and respond quickly to booking or self-tape requests. Failure to do so may result in removal or being unpaid by production.
9. Bank Details:
You must ensure your BACS bank details are correct and match the name on the account. We are not responsible for incorrect payments caused by wrong information.
10. Requesting Removal:
You can request to be removed from our books at any time. We will delete your profile but must keep payment records for one year for tax purposes.
11. No Registration/Admin Fees:
We do not charge you to register.
12. Agency Commission:
We deduct an 18% commission from all earnings unless otherwise stated.
13. Travel and Per Diem Payments:
We take commission from travel payments but not from per diems. Travel and accommodation costs are paid by production if agreed beforehand; otherwise, they are your responsibility.
13. Travel/Accommodation Cancellations:
We do not reimburse costs if production cancels.
14. Attendance Documentation:
You may be asked to complete a ‘chit form’ showing attendance and hours. Some productions do this online.
15. Breach of Terms:
Failure to follow agency or production rules can result in non-payment. If production refuses payment, we are not liable.
16. Booking Confirmations:
After making a booking, you will receive a confirmation email. Please read all information in the email carefully.
Please note: A license must be obtained in order for the booking to be fully confirmed. The booking cannot proceed without this license due to legal requirements. This process is handled by the local council, and is beyond the control of CKA.
CKA cannot be held liable for any licenses that are not issued.
17. Cancellations by You:
If you cannot attend a booking, inform us immediately. Youngsters often need licenses, and replacements are difficult, so failure to notify us could result in profile removal.
18. Cancellations by Production:
Production can cancel bookings by midday (or sometimes by 3:00 PM) the day before. Not all cancellations come with a fee. We will inform you if a cancellation fee is due.

You may be required to sign an NDA or Global Agreement for each job. Not signing can lead to cancellation and non-payment.

If any issues arise on set, contact CKA or the registered chaperone, not production staff.
22. Strict Confidentiality Rules:

23. Invoicing:
CKA will invoice and collect fees from production on your behalf. Payments are processed via BACS to the account listed on your profile.
24. Payment Timeline:
Production companies may take 4–15 weeks to pay us. Once we receive payment, we aim to pay you within 30 days.
25. Payment Notification:
You’ll receive a breakdown email before payment, and funds should reach your account within 48 hours after notification.
26. Non-payment by Production:
If you fail to meet production requirements (e.g., wrong measurements, missing licenses, no-shows), production may refuse to pay, and CKA is not liable.
27. Freelancer Status:
You register as a freelancer, not an employee. You are responsible for your own taxes and national insurance contributions if applicable.
28. Removal Rights:
CKA may remove you or your youngster from our books at any time, without notice or explanation.
29. Policy Updates:
CKA may update its website, Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Child Protection Policies at any time without notice.
30. Use of Images:
You give permission for CKA to use your youngster’s images or videos for promotional and social media purposes.
31. Photography Requirements:
You agree to have professional photos taken by our designated photographer within your first year (at a discounted fee).
32. Inclusion and Diversity:
CKA promotes diversity and inclusion. Any form of discrimination will result in immediate removal.
33. Parents on Set:
Parents are generally not permitted to stay on set. Refusal could result in removal from the booking and agency.
34. Communication Compliance:
Failure to complete requested tasks (e.g., self-tapes, licenses) on time can result in removal from the agency.
35. Governing Law:
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Scottish and English law, and disputes will be handled in Scottish or English courts.
